Meet The Vamps Vinyl Debut

By Mackenzie Wagner

There is really nothing like a good pop album. The Vamps initially released Meet The Vamps in 2014, and now their debut album will be available on vinyl for the first time on June 9th. The fun, youthful energy that made this album so popular in the 2010s continues to make it a favorite among so many. Although Meet The Vamps was released nearly a decade ago, it is just as fresh and catchy as it was when it was initially released.

Bradley Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball, and Tristan Evans make up The Vamps, an energetic pop band from England. Meet The Vamps is a standout example of everything a good pop album is. Their debut album is fun, romantic, and reminds you of young love in the summertime. The Vamps have grown quite a following since they first started putting out music. Following the success of their first pop album, the band began experimenting with EDM and other sounds, all while continuing to perform and sell out shows around the world.

Although the band may have experimented with their sound, Meet The Vamps set the standard for their continued success. Standout tracks like “Can We Dance” and “Hurricane” are upbeat and just as fun to bop along to as they were back in 2014. Meet The Vamps showcases such a strong balance of each band member’s talents with bold vocals and unforgettable instrumental beats. There is something so fun about this album, which makes it such a successful debut. The album also features some standout collaborations with acclaimed pop artists like Demi Lovato on “Somebody to You” and Shawn Mendes on “Oh Cecilia”.

When a pop album is done well, the songs are still a hit no matter how many years have gone by. Meet The Vamps on vinyl is such an exciting release because these songs truly do not get old. Dedicated listeners will be excited to have their favorite pop tunes physically in their hands, and new listeners who are being introduced to The Vamps for the first time will surely enjoy these hits for many more years to come.

Meet The Vamps will be available in this special format with a blue vinyl edition on June 9. It is incredibly exciting to bring back this pop hit just in time for summer, and it is just as exciting to see what comes next for The Vamps.
