“Step To Me” was a fan-favorite back in 1997 when it appeared in a soft drink campaign. Fans were then collecting pink ring pull tabs off of cans in exchange for a four track CD single. With the release of Spiceworld 25, fans now get to hear the original demo recording. The funky pop hit was released along with the lyric video ahead of the album release and caused a much deserved hype for the upcoming album.

Following the Spice Girls’ 97 show tour through Europe and North America, fans excitedly anticipated a live album to commemorate the success and memories of the tour. While a live album was never released, fans will be excited to hear four live performances on the album, all from different venues. From the opening brass to strong vocals, “Stop (Live in Madrid, March 1998)” was another stand-out from Spiceworld 25. “Move Over (Live in Istanbul, October 1997)” and “Spice Up Your Life (Live In Arnhem, March 1998)” are two energetic live performances that are also on the album. The strong vocals especially come through in these live performances and the energy of the show is evident even in the audio. The creative, pop energy allows listeners to relive the fun performances from the original Spiceworld tour.

The album ends with a never-heard-before “Spice Girls Party Mix”, which is an almost fifteen minute round up of the band’s biggest hits. The most popular Spice Girls songs were mixed into an iconic pop blend. The track is the perfect pop-party remix and includes hits like “Spice Up Your Life”, “Wannabe”, “Who Do You Think You Are” and more. It is perfect for singing along and dancing, and is definitely the perfect way to celebrate 25 years of Spiceworld.

Spiceworld 25 brings back so many favorites from 25 years ago, while bringing in new favorites as well. Fans of Spiceworld will be excited to hear their favorite songs again and have new favorites to listen to and make new memories with. This new era of Spiceworld is sure to bring another wave of success and will no doubt be just as iconic as the original. Spiceworld 25 will be available Nov. 4 for streaming and purchase of physical formats.
